Listening lies at the heart of the Wisdom tradition. Join us during the peak of Vermont’s fall foliage season for a nourishing weekend of contemplative practices designed to cultivate and open the ear of the heart.
While our primary focus will be lectio divina, we will follow a rhythm of centering prayer, sacred chant, conscious work, and contemplative movement, with special emphasis on how these practices attune us to the resonant field of the heart. Using scripture, Nature and each other as sacred “texts”, we will listen deeply to and for the Living One speaking into the present moment.
This is a wonderful opportunity to deepen your contemplative life within a community of support. People of all spiritual traditions (or none) are welcome. The only prerequisite is prior experience with or interest in silent prayer or meditation.
